A week ago this Friday July 28th Lake Tahoe lost one of its incredible souls Steve Kosmides. Cosmo as his friends knew him will be thoroughly missed. Cosmo has owned and operated Lake Tahoe Plumbing since the early 80s, an incredibly successful plumbing business, I think Cosmo knew more about plumbing and the infrastructure of Lake Tahoe’s intricate systems far more than anyone in this community. Cosmo was an avid water skier, who spent many a morning on Fallen Leaf lake skiing especially with Gerald and Laurie Roberts amongst many other friends.  Cosmo and I have known each other since we were 19 years old we met in Lake Tahoe, he was the best man at my wedding, and we have spent many a day enjoying life together. Rest in peace, my friend.

Have you ever wondered why it’s called Ski Run Boat Company? The face of Heavenly Ski Resort is located directly up the road from the marina and makes a great landmark for getting back to us! The two ski runs almost look like a wishbone or an upside down Y.
