Begun by Richard Wengren in 1986 to carry on his family's long-standing heritage in the boat industry, Strouts Point Wharf Company was specially designed to be a unique and dynamic full-service operation. The Clean Team has awarded a boat washing to the Hudsons and the Hunzikers! Tabooster, owned by Carol and Dale Hudson is used with family and friends and most recently was a committee boat for the HYC Youth Regatta. Dale points out that they honor all navigational aids when entering the Harraseeket.
The Hunzikers’ boat is their taxi, truck, and fun ride. They use it to get back and forth to the mainland to haul everything and anything. They love exploring other islands and finding good places to eat that are reachable by boat. Another favorite thing is to go fast over the wakes of other boats to see how much “airtime” they can get. And their trusted canine companion will let them know if they try to leave without her by barking until she gets to go.

We have two winners this week! The Clean Team has awarded a FREE boat washing to Jim and Kim Ryan for their submission of working and playing with their boat. They use their boat for laundry and shopping runs, procuring lobsters and ice cream, and seal and rainbow spotting.
Our second weekly award goes to Ali and Lee Bushman. They use their boat (Seeker) for cruising around with family and friends and transportation to Bustins Island. They were returning from the lobster boat races when they came across a replica of an early 1950’s British sports car (MG TD) “driving” around the bay.
