🇬🇧 Not every logo starts on a computer.

About ten years ago, when Fernando decided to launch his own business, he wanted a logo that felt personal.

A longtime tattoo lover, he turned to his friend Simona of , the artist behind many of his tattoos.

The idea came after spotting a vintage-style T-shirt in Capri. At first, it was meant to be a caricature, but it never felt quite right.

So together they took a different path, drawing inspiration from traditional old school tattoo art.

A sailor, an anchor, the sea, Capri in the background and the symbols of a life spent on the water.

Ten years later, that illustration still represents Fernando’s Boats.

What started as a logo has become something more. Today it appears on T-shirts, hoodies and other apparel that guests, friends and locals keep asking for year after year.

More than a logo, it’s part of the story.

🇮🇹 Non tutti i loghi nascono davanti a un computer.

Circa dieci anni fa, quando Fernando decise di avviare la propria attività, voleva un logo che lo rappresentasse davvero.

Grande appassionato di tatuaggi, si rivolse alla sua amica Simona di , l’artista che ha realizzato molti dei suoi tatuaggi.

L’idea nacque dopo aver visto una maglietta in stile vintage a Capri. Inizialmente doveva essere una caricatura, ma non sembrava la strada giusta.

Così decisero di seguire una direzione diversa, ispirandosi ai tradizionali tatuaggi old school.

Un marinaio, un’ancora, il mare, Capri sullo sfondo e i simboli di una vita trascorsa sull’acqua.

Dieci anni dopo, quell’illustrazione rappresenta ancora Fernando’s Boats.

Quello che era nato come un logo è diventato qualcosa di più. Oggi compare su t-shirt, felpe e altri capi che ospiti, amici e persone del posto continuano a richiedere anno dopo anno.

Più che un logo, è parte della storia
