I am so happy to have been reunited with this car. 9R6-712.
The first Spyder that I restored at Pickett Racing. Only 3 races on this car, all podiums one victory.
The new owner built this nice 1200 square foot "guest house" that is air conditioned and has a dehumidifier in it to preserve the car. I flew in to start it up for the owner as he has never heard it run. Pretty cool.

A very good weekend at Sonoma. All of our drivers did a fantastic job. Buzz Dyer did not get to run on Friday as we had to do major repairs to his differential from issues that his car had last year. A special thanks to Jim Dunford for the 20 plus hours of machine work to pull off the miracle and Stephen Dix and Rod Pool for staying late to finish the project till 1am to get the Javelin race ready.
Buzz qualified 14 and had a great race with 3 cars to finish 13th. Frank Marcum made his West Coast debut in his Ho***rs Nascar and woke some people up by driving very hard and fast finishing 5th on Saturday and 4th on Sunday. Bruce Canepa did his usual fantastic job driving the Wynns Porsche 962 and qualified the car 3 seconds faster than anyone in his group.
Now we are getting ready for the SVRA race in Portland on July 27-30.
