We just wanted to take a second to jump on here and thank everyone in the community who came out in this heat today , and all this past week , to support the Somerset FFA Booster Club fundraiser in so many ways 🙏 !!
The show of support that I witnessed today while delivering this Texas Truck Rodz Style Gear was what I call a true blessing and so needed in this little community !!
So many huge hearted people reside in this often under estimated and overlooked little town , that we've personally called home for over 40 years now.
Most people know that the word UNITY is in the word community , but we often times as humans fall victim to the pressures of life , which leads to jealousy , envy , greed , and most importantly adult peer pressure ..... but this week I witnessed almost everyone put all that aside for the kiddos of this community.
I truly believe that we should all be proud of ourselves , and more importantly feel good about ourselves , for setting this fine example of how I know that we can and should be as a community all of the time ..... not just during tragic events such as this one .
So pat yourselves on the back for doing the right thing and setting this fine example of how community should be today .
Again I truly believe that we should all challenge ourselves to continue this UNITY in the community moving forward 🙏.
We are now excited for the upcoming Homecoming Parade.....which we haven't really been in some years I must admit !!
I truly hope everyone else in the community feels the same way , and is ready to turn it up a few notches 😆 for the 4 day event .
