βοΈ 'Winter Vehicle Prep' - Arizona Edition π΅
Look, we know we're not dealing with snow chains and ice scrapers here in Northern Arizona all the time... but Arizona winter IS a thing, and your vehicle needs to be ready for it and maintained throughout it.
Here's what actually matters for Arizona winter driving:
β
TIRE PRESSURE - Our temperature swings are wild. Cold mornings mean low pressure. Check it weekly.
β
BATTERY HEALTH - Cold starts are hard on batteries. If yours is 3+ years old, get it tested. Breaking down in 30-degree weather isn't fun.
β
HEATER & DEFROSTER - You'll need them on those frosty White Mountain mornings. Make sure they actually work.
β
WINDSHIELD WIPERS - Monsoon season is over, but winter rain happens. Replace them if they're streaky.
β
COOLANT/ANTIFREEZE - Yes, even in Arizona. It protects against freezing AND overheating.
β
EMERGENCY KIT - Blanket, flashlight, water, snacks. If you're heading up to the mountains or across the state, be prepared.
THE WHITE MOUNTAINS REALITY: We get cold nights, occasional snow, and unpredictable weather. Your vehicle should be ready for all of it.
Swing by if you want us to do a quick check with you. We'd rather you be safe than sorry.
