The next step is waiting for the pea gravel. Everywhere you see black will be covered with unwashed pea gravel ( the sand is still mixed with the pebbles). That should be a big job spreading it out!! Having the fire pit cleaned up from the bags etc will make me smile easier. lol 😆
I got to play in my friend’s hay field today. I can still throw bales of hay onto a wagon. My ego was happy until the teenage fella was running circles around me 😂 so seeing that I wasn’t really needed, I used my grey hair wisdom and left the field and visited with my friends that were holding down the porch! LOL 😂

Here’s the finished product! The brick walkway is done. I feel like I’ve been working on it for the whole summer!! Glad to be moving on to the next priority. The fire pit is needing a fire!🔥 Not sure it’ll happen tonight cause on one of my breaks I went to the wide spot and bought five dozen ears of corn!! I like eating good food and this corn will be good all winter!! One of my neighbors brought me a variety of veggies that I will truly enjoy! 😊

Ever get bluffed into thinking that the job is just too tricky? For more than a year I’ve looked at the crappy doorway. It wasn’t as hard as I thought, took a lot of time, but now it’s not beating up my mind. 😁❤️ a couple plunge cuts and some hand work, waalaa!! BTW, I used Amazing cleaner on the door and the tape wouldn’t stick. Wiped it down with vinegar and it removed the coating left behind by the cleaner. Sure makes this gal wonder how clean things have been.

Toys are on my mind! Visited my cousin Len in NY and he had some tools that I found useful so I got a few! I use a regular chainsaw but DANG this little thing is plumb fun!
I actually started transplanting mint to the creek bottom so I dug it up and brought it over. Got the w**d whacker and buzzed the whole area. Planted until I ran out of room. LOL got the idea to try the baby chainsaw and 🤷‍♀️ an hour later? I had limbs everywhere and the overgrowth was down. I planted the rest of the mint and then dragged branches out to a pile. 😆🤣 not too bad just one or two tangents!! 🤣🫢

Those raised beds! The rest are finally finished! The pictures progress from the empty space to overflowing with tomato plants, okra, bush beans that ran and some peppers. 😁 I’m a happy little camper!! If you want to give your stomach muscles a workout, shovel the dirt to fill up raised beds!! 🤣
