Big news for our fire and emergency service customers: we're now a certified Darley fire pump service center.

Our technicians trained at the Darley Academy, hands on with Darley pumps, transfer cases, and transmissions. That means factory-trained expertise on your apparatus, not guesswork.

Fire pumps are mission-critical. There's no room for a shop that's figuring it out when lives depend on that equipment working right, every time.

Darley-certified technicians. Trained on pumps, transfer cases, and transmissions. Ready to service your department's apparatus with confidence.

Need a fire pump checked out or repaired? Call the team that trained for it.

Midnight. A leaking radiator hose. A truck stuck roadside with a job still to finish.

That's when our phone rang, and our team showed up.

We rolled out, made the repair right there on the shoulder, and got the truck back on the road so the job didn't have to stop. Breakdowns don't wait for business hours, so neither do we.

Hoses, belts, electrical, tires: if it can be fixed roadside, we carry the tools and parts to handle it, day or night, any day of the week.

Anywhere your equipment goes down, we'll come to you. Save our number.

Preventive maintenance isn't just an oil change and a grease job.

A proper PM covers fluids and filters, belts and hoses, tires and brakes, the hydraulic system, electrical components, and a general inspection, then documents what the technician finds.

That's the difference between routine service and actually catching problems early. A worn hose, a small leak, or a loose connection is a lot cheaper to fix now than after it fails.

Do the PM right, and your equipment, and your bottom line, will thank you.

Central Texas summers are hard on trucks and equipment, and a dirty radiator makes it worse.

Dust, dirt, and debris on the radiator restrict airflow, so the cooling system has to work harder. Add a fan that isn't pulling its weight and you've got a recipe for overheating.

During your next inspection: clean the radiator, check for bent fins or coolant leaks, and confirm the fan runs properly without unusual noise.

A few minutes now beats a temperature gauge climbing on a job site.

A little hydraulic oil around a cylinder's wiper seal is easy to write off. It shouldn't be, it can mean the gland seal is starting to fail.

Left alone, a seep becomes a leak, and a leak means lost fluid, more wear, and a bigger repair bill. Watch for oil buildup around the rod, wet spots that come back after cleaning, and any change in how the cylinder performs.

Catch the seep early and it stays a small fix.

A small fuel leak doesn't just mean lost fuel. It can let air into the system, and that leads to hard starts, rough running, and stalling.

During your daily inspection, check for damp fuel lines, stains around fittings, cracked hoses, and any unusual fuel smell.

If you find one, don't just wipe it off. Track down the source and get it fixed before it turns into a starting or performance problem.

Here's a fleet manager habit that costs nothing: walk the yard and look down.

See a puddle, a drip, or a wet spot? Don't walk past it. Figure out which piece of equipment it came from, then check whether it's oil, coolant, fuel, or hydraulic fluid.

A small spot on the ground today can turn into a major leak tomorrow. Sometimes the first sign of trouble isn't a warning light. It's a puddle.

Quick question for our fleet managers: does your maintenance plan include your forklifts?

They may not be your primary piece of equipment, but they still do real work, and when one goes down it can stall your whole operation. A proper PM checks fluids, filters, hydraulics, hoses, brakes, tires, the mast and forks, the electrical system, and safety equipment, not just the oil.

Catching a worn part or a small leak during a scheduled PM is a lot cheaper than dealing with a forklift that quits mid-shift.

Need a forklift PM? Give our Service & Parts team a call.

Fine in the morning, losing power by noon.

A customer reported exactly that. The diagnosis: a weak injection pump metering solenoid restricting fuel flow as the engine warmed up. The kind of intermittent problem that's easy to miss and hard to nail down without the right tools and experience.

No waiting weeks for a dealer slot. We diagnose it ourselves and communicate directly with you throughout.

If your equipment is acting up, don't wait it out. Call (512) 881-2785 or visit lostpinesfe.com.
