This year's Olean stock car show was bitter sweet. This is the 1st year of showing the Hudson without my father. In addition, the best of show trophy was in memorial of him. The trophy was earned and presented to the Peterson Racing Team and their #15 E-mod. After receiving the trophy, Bill & Adam wanted to present the trophy to us. This act of kindness and generous gesture was very much appreciated by our family. However, we feel that this trophy should remain with the Peterson Racing family. WB Peterson

Attention. Smethport School District—Smethport Area School District will have an early dismissal tomorrow, February 15th, due to a successful food drive. The elementary school will be dismissed at 12:00 PM. The high school will be dismissed at 12:14 PM. Lunch will not be served.

School will be in session on Monday, February 18th, as a make-up day.
