Requirements to be considered an applicant:
• Have your own tools
• Honest & Reliable
• Have the ability to maintain your work area
• A few years of experience in the automotive field
• Good Work Ethic
• Show up on time
• Willing to learn new things as vehicles are changing every year, and learn about transmissions
• Excellent Knowledge in the auto repair field, including knowledge of vehicle diagnosing & diagnosing electrical systems
• Pay will be based on experience
• Ability to be a team player and help other employees when necessary
• Valid Drivers liscense
• Willing to work weekends should the work load call for such
• Automotive certifications are a plus
Things expected of you in this position:
- We specialize in transmission repair, as such this will be a majority of the work expected of you -
• Removing & Installing transmissions - Front & Rear Wheel drive, as well as AWD & 4X4 - Gas & Diesel
• Perform transmission fluid & filter changes
• Perform general repair & maintenance work such as tune ups, water pumps, pulleys, brake jobs, oil changes, rear end replacements, u-joint replacements, CV axle replacements, radiators, ac work, removal of exhaust, Transfer cases, etc.
• Road test a vehicle after repair, and verify the issue is resolved
• Diagnosing vehicles
• Show up on time for work, and be ready to work
• Help co workers with heavy lifting, loading and unloading parts
• Basic knowledge of using diagnostic equipment & scan tools
• Show up to work with a positive attitude
• Respect customers & their vehicles
