I’ve had a couple of people ask how to leave a review on Facebook and Google, so I thought I’d make a quick post about it.

For Facebook, simply visit my business page and click on the review count (currently showing “73 Reviews”). Facebook will ask whether or not you recommend OCDetails. Hopefully you’ll click “Yes” and leave a few kind words about your experience!

For Google, search “OCDetails WV” and click on the review count that appears in the business listing. From there, Google will walk you through leaving a review.

I truly appreciate every review that’s been left so far. Reviews help small businesses more than most people realize, and they help others feel confident about trusting me with their vehicles.

Three ceramic coatings completed over the weekend — two from Jackson County and one from Kanawha County.

I also completed two ceramic maintenance appointments and took care of a little touch-up work.

One vehicle had an unfortunate run-in with a deer and needed a few panels recoated after the repairs were completed.

The other vehicle had a different issue. During the ceramic maintenance, I noticed the coating on the doors wasn’t performing quite the way it should have been. After inspecting it, I believe I may have accidentally used a chemical at some point that wasn’t coating-safe to remove a contaminant. Rather than leave it alone or try to simply put a bandaid on it, I removed the coating from the affected panels and reapplied it to make sure everything was performing exactly as it should.

One thing I want my customers to understand is that when you get a ceramic coating from me, you’re not just paying for the day the coating is installed. I’m going to be here for you for years to come. I’ll continue to monitor it, maintain it, and take care of issues you may not even realize are there.

Sometimes that means fixing problems caused by a deer. Sometimes it means fixing problems caused by me. 😬

Either way, I’ve got you covered.

Thank you so much to Joe for trusting me with another one of his vehicles. This time, his wife’s beautiful new Audi Q7.

They took advantage of my Spring Special, which included a machine polish, a 3-year IGL Arcane ceramic coating, and a complimentary windshield coating.

This Audi already looked fantastic, but now it has even more gloss, incredible protection, and will be much easier to keep looking its best for years to come. The ceramic coating will help protect the paint from the elements while making routine washing and maintenance much simpler.

Thank you so much to Angel and Bradley for making the trip from Ripley to bring me their vehicle. Angel’s Maxima was already in great shape, it just needed a little TLC to bring the paint and headlights back to life.

Angel took advantage of my Spring Special, which includes a machine polish, a 3-year IGL Arcane ceramic coating, and a complimentary windshield coating. They also added a headlight restoration along with a ceramic coating for the headlights to help keep them looking their best for years to come.

The Maxima looks fantastic now, and it will be much easier to keep clean and protected from the elements.

I just had someone call asking for a price on a ceramic coating. I don’t blame anyone for shopping around—I know I would.

When you’re comparing ceramic coating installers, here are a few things you should ask:

✅ What coating are they using?

There are several excellent coatings on the market, and it only takes a few minutes to research them. If someone is selling you a “3-year” or longer coating that can be purchased by anyone online, that should probably raise a few questions. You are paying for a professional service, make sure you are getting a professional coating.

✅ How are they preparing the vehicle?

Preparation is the most important part of any ceramic coating installation. The coating needs to bond directly to the vehicle’s clear coat, which means there can’t be any oils, waxes, sealants, or other contaminants left behind.

At OCDetails, every coating starts with a thorough wash, iron decontamination, and clay bar treatment. For anything beyond my one-year coating, I strongly recommend a machine polish to properly prepare the paint and maximize the coating’s performance and longevity.

✅ What do their reviews say?

Happy customers tend to leave reviews. Take a few minutes to see what previous customers have to say about their experience, the quality of the work, and how the coating has held up over time.

✅ Can they get you in tomorrow for a premium service such as a ceramic coating?

Maybe ask yourself why.
