Matt Scott AKA(Buckskunk)
Matt brings a wealth of experience to the Autocross coaching program. In 1991 his best friend said he should race his 1986 BMW 325es in an event in Omaha. With a borrowed set of tires and wheels from his friend's dad he went out and won the 1st race he entered. And the hook was set deep. That year Matt focused his craft with an un-competitive car but luckily the infamous National Champion Russ Wiles mentored Matt into a great driver throughout the season. The next year Matt was able to get a 1991 MR2 to campaign nationwide both in pro solo events and the largest autocross events in the USA. After Multiple Pro Solo Wins and many Autocross wins with Yokohama Sponsorship he secured a 3rd place at the National Championship. After that he moved on to Formula Fords with the Skip Barber Racing Series finished 3rd his 1st year and then in 1994 campaigned half a season with multiple 2nd place finishes to his credit. After that he started to run shifter carts in Phoenix Arizona to help hone his craft. And then started a family...now he's back with a full head of steam and a new race car.
