Happy Birthday, Matt! 🎉🎂

We're celebrating Matt today, and of course, no birthday celebration is complete without some cake! 😂

Matt is hardworking, funny, and the kind of guy who can figure out just about anything he puts his mind to. We're lucky to have him as part of our crew!

Matt is also coming up on one year in his dream home, which was a pretty huge accomplishment on his goal board! 🏡 We hope this next year brings you even more happy memories in your home, plenty of time tinkering with your Chevy Novas, and some well-deserved time to kick back and enjoy everything you've worked hard for.

Here's to celebrating how far you've come, making more great memories, and having even more goals to check off that board!

Happy Birthday, Matt! We hope you have an awesome day! 🎈

A little Brakes for Breasts reminder, just in case you were wondering…

October means Brakes for Breasts at Lee Myles! 🎀

All month long, when you schedule qualifying brake service, you’ll receive FREE brake pads + a FREE Lee Myles Brakes for Breasts t-shirt with the purchase of labor and rotors.

But the biggest part of this campaign goes beyond the free brake pads. 10% of the service cost is donated to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund, helping support research toward the prevention of breast cancer.

So if your brakes have been squeaking, grinding, or simply telling you it’s time, October is a pretty great time to take care of them — for your car and for an incredible cause.

Today is National Mammography Day. 🎀

A reminder that sometimes the things we can’t see are the reason screenings matter.

Throughout October, we talk a lot about brakes, pink shirts, and Brakes for Breasts — but behind it all is something much bigger: raising awareness and supporting research that could make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

Today, we encourage you to take care of yourself, know your screening recommendations, and have the conversations that matter. 💗

We’re halfway through October, and Berks County is showing up for Brakes for Breasts! 💗

Here’s where we stand so far:

💗 $2,744 raised for breast cancer vaccine research

Since joining Brakes for Breasts in 2019, Lee Myles Southeast PA has raised more than $15,000 locally. Now, we’re working toward our strongest campaign yet.

Every qualifying brake service adds to the total.

Happy Birthday, Dan! 🎉🎂

We're celebrating Dan today, and we're pretty sure the only thing he likes more than a good laugh is a Mountain Dew. 😂

Dan brings plenty of humor and personality to our crew, and we wouldn't have it any other way!

We hope this next year brings you plenty of time at the ballfield, a few more MLB stadiums checked off your bucket list, and maybe even a chance to catch the Daytona 500 in person!

Here's to a year full of good times, great memories, and an endless supply of Mountain Dew. Oh, and birthday cake — as long as it's NOT ice cream cake! 😂

Happy Birthday, Dan! We're glad we got to celebrate you today! 🎈

New brake pads deserve a fresh start. Preferably with a rotor that doesn't have a questionable past. 😂

This week, we're playing The Brake Pad Dating Game while Mark breaks down why pads and rotors make such an important pair.

Noticed a little extra activity at our Sinking Spring location lately? 👀🚧

No, we're not tearing the place down. We're making it bigger! 😂

Construction officially kicked off this week as we begin expanding our Sinking Spring building, and we're pretty excited to see things getting underway!

We're sharing a few photos and a quick video of the progress so far, because what's a construction project without a little before-and-after documentation?

Stay tuned as we share updates along the way. Big things are happening in Sinking Spring! 🔧🏗️

Brakes for Breasts is about more than wearing pink. 💗

On Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, we recognize those living with metastatic breast cancer and the families standing beside them.

Days like today are an important reminder of why research matters — and why we’re spending October helping raise funds for the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.

Squeaking? Grinding? Scraping? Shaking? Your car should not have its own soundtrack.

Brake noises can give you a clue that something needs attention—but different sounds can mean very different things. And fun fact: if your brakes stop squeaking, that doesn’t necessarily mean they fixed themselves.

We’re translating some of the most common brake noises on the blog: https://leemylessoutheastpa.com/blog.html?post=what-do-squeaking-grinding-and-other-brake-noises-mean

Plus, Brakes for Breasts continues all October with FREE brake pads with the purchase of rotors and labor during qualifying brake service. 💗

We made the paper! 💗

A huge thank you to the Reading Eagle for helping us share the story behind this year’s Brakes for Breasts campaign.

All October long, Lee Myles is offering FREE brake pads with the purchase of rotors + labor on qualifying brake service, while donating 10% of qualifying brake service to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.

This campaign means a lot to our team, and we’re incredibly grateful to see it getting some local attention.

There’s a lot more behind Brakes for Breasts than free brake pads. 💗

Where does the money go? What research is it helping fund? What exactly is included when you come to Lee Myles this October? And how much have our local shops raised since joining the campaign in 2019?

We broke it all down on the blog—including an update on the breast cancer vaccine research this campaign helps support.

If your vehicle doesn't shift the way it used to, don't assume the worst.

Sometimes a small change in the way your car drives is simply your vehicle asking for a little attention. That's exactly what this week's Transmission Talk is all about—understanding the signs, staying ahead of maintenance, and replacing guesswork with clear answers.
