Its POR-15 Time! Bobbi and I kicked butt all weekend. We got the interior floor pan AND the trunk pan covered with POR-15. I have been building cars professionally for over 2 1/2 decades and it is VERY rare that an aftermarket chemical does exactly what proclaims it does. POR-15 is AWESOME! If you haven't used it before, I suggest you do. You'll see more in Modern Rodding on this later on.

Dig this cool & quick make over! Our Skylark originally came with black carpet on the floor and the bottom of the door panels. The carpet was trash and the door panels were horribly faded. Since I plan on putting in a new Turquoise carpet (to match the exterior), I figured I’d do a quick clean up and dye job on the door panels……. and Voila!

Hey there Kiddos! Well, I got me a new fun project for my girlfriend Bobbi and myself to tinker on! It is a 65 Skylark that I bought off of the original owner family up in Ojai. It has been sitting in a barn for 30 years. We will be doing some simple but cool mods to make it bitchin’ and then we will be driving it over to the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln Nebraska. Road trip fun comin’ our way!
Also, Modern Rodding Magazine will be following along showing you some of the install projects in more detail, so watch for it!

Fresh from those makers of horsepower in Nebraska, Blue Print Engines!
The GM Small Block Compatible 383 c.i. Power Adder Engine. This is EXACTLY what Fracas needs! A long block that is prepped for a blower. How awesome is that? Low compression and a well thought out cam shaft to work with boost using pump gas on the street. Perfect!
I cannot wait to put my put in it!
