Your long weekend called. It would like fewer errands and more of this. 🌿🛶

Cool water. Green banks. Maybe an eagle overhead… maybe an otter judging your paddling technique.

Just a few hours where nobody needs anything from you except the river.

This is your escape. 💙

This is your reminder that not every adventure has to be loud. 🌿

Sometimes it’s glassy water, morning fog, birds in the trees, and a river waking up around you.

This is the Caney. 💙

There’s still plenty of summer left—and the Caney Fork is still a refreshing 𝟱𝟴 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀.

Who else is squeezing every last adventure out of summer?

🌊 River Advice #1

If you’re in the same boat… your partner’s always right. 😂🛶

After thousands of trips down the Caney, we’ve learned one thing: the best river memories usually start with a little teamwork… and a lot of laughing.

Tag the person you’d trust in the front (or back!) of the kayak. 💛

We don’t make the rules—we just see a lot of tandem kayaks.

The humans are melting. ☀ The river has A/C.
One reported their steering wheel was “actively trying to hurt them.”
Another claimed the sidewalk was making threats.

The river remains calm, cold, and emotionally available.

Captain's Log #312: A customer stepped into the Caney Fork wearing flip-flops and made a sound usually reserved for stepping on a Lego.

Nashville was 97 last week. The Caney Fork is spring-fed and sitting around 60.

That is a 37-degree difference between the parking lot and the put-in. Your feet will file a complaint. Your brain will thank you by mile two.

This window only works in June and July. In October the river will not save you from anything except maybe a meeting.

Bring the cousins. Bring the friend who keeps saying "it's too hot to do anything." That is the entire point. 🛶
