On the river, nobody cares what you do for a living.

The eagle doesn't know you're a bank president. 🦅

The otter doesn't care that you're the CEO.

The turtle isn't impressed by your LinkedIn profile. 🐢

The blue heron doesn't care how many followers you have.

They're all just wondering the same thing:

The average American kid spends 7+ hours a day on a screen. 😳

We don't know exactly how many turtles it takes to compete with TikTok. But we've seen kids spend three hours counting them on the Caney.

That's probably a good sign. 🛶

June on the Caney Fork is something else.

The water is up, the trees are full, and the river is doing exactly what it's supposed to do this time of year. Cool current, green everywhere you look, and that easy summer hum you can't really describe until you're floating through it. ☀

This is our peak stretch between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and honestly, June is the sweet spot. School's out, the kids have that "what are we doing today" look, and the forecast finally agrees with our plans (mostly… it's still Tennessee).

If a float trip has been on your "we should really do that" list, this is the window. Summer has a way of slipping by between ball games, cookouts, and one more load of laundry. A few hours on the river has a way of slowing it back down.

Come paddle with us. Bring the family, bring the cousins, bring the friend who keeps saying they want to try kayaking but never has.

What's the lineup looking like for your crew this June? Anybody planning a first float? 🛶

POV: The river finally remembered it’s summer. 🙌☀️

After Memorial Weekend tried to personally humble us with nonstop rain… the Caney is looking a whole lot more cooperative this week. 😂

A few little rain chances in the forecast, but we’re choosing optimism, snacks, and floating therapy. 🛶

It’s Earth Day 🌎

If you’ve ever floated the Caney, you know how special it is.

Today’s a good day to ask:
What can we do to keep it that way?

✔ Pick up trash when you see it
✔ Respect wildlife & each other
✔ Leave the river better than you found it

Small actions make a big difference.

Did you know you can get THIS close to Burgess Falls? 👀💦

Most people only see it from above…
but there’s a whole different view waiting at the base.

We offer kayak trips that take you there 🛶
