Guess where we are today.

Justin made a pass and ran his number.. 9.85 134 mph.

I'm doing shake down runs in the 55. Launched it pulled 2nd and let off. 17.0. It wobbled a bit at the top end. Not enough air in slicks. 12 lbs. I ran Justin the next pass Another easy pass. I got the rev limiter set at 5000 rpms.
Knocked off 2 seconds and no wobble at 14 lbs.
Justin ran a another 9.80s
perfect pass. I'm gonna run a full pass next run. Still at 5000 rpm. Gotta be nice to my 427.

Everyday's a CarShow at Auto Resto!!
1968 Pontiac Firebird Restoration... We replaced the whole floor and rear frame rails. Finished it off with Bed liner. We saved the old bird, thanks to our metal tech extraordinaire, Bob Jacques. We shot the the inside floor with bed liner too. I'll add it to the post on Monday.

Yes, It's yellow enough for me. It's out in our Mexican oven to cure for a day or so before cut and buffing. First time it's been all yellow since it was painted at "Gaboury's Body Shop" in 1959, St.Paul Minnesota. More to come.
