The Blazer got some unexpected upgrades

Started out with getting rid of the orange wheels I didn’t care for.. these wheels look so much better

Then threw on some stuff that I originally bought for a Gladiator a few years ago.. off road jack , gas can, and an antenna. This made it look so much better

After that I thought I was done. … until I was watching last weeks scale update on YouTube about Traxxas releasing an interior for these

HAD to get it and WOW. This truck was at the bottom of the totem pole of my 3 main trail rigs.

Now it might be my favorite? Probably just because it’s fresh with new upgrades.

Can’t wait to take it out. Hope to get some snow trailing in

The Blazer drove wayyy better than expected today.

Going to do a little shock tuning and add a little weight to the front then should be perfect.

New setup on the Blazer…

Long arm lift kit
T real wide hub/hex stub set (8mm hex)
Proline Interco 5.4 inch tall 1.9 boggers
And some new beadlocks I had laying around.
Added some flat black vinyl by the sliders so the sides don’t look so tall. Looks much better now.

Might change the wheels out? For now I’m going to run them.

Love the old school look of this. Search lifted K5 blazer on google… tons of them with this exact look.

Hoping to get it out somewhere on Saturday.

Tweaked the layout a bit.. Going to get more drive time in and adjust it a little more then start putting carpet and Tetsujin Kurbs out!
