**APPRECIATION POST**
We wanted to make sure to make a post to all the friends and businesses that helped make the car show a success on Saturday! We absolutely could not have done it without all of you.
To the businesses, we THANK YOU:

* 8 Seconds in Sidney, for all the ice to help keep people cool! Thank you also for the $50 gift card for a prize!
* Dancin Bear in Sidney, for the $50 gift card for a prize!
* Lance Cornelius with State Farm in Shenandoah for the super awesome cooler for a prize!
* CT Financial for some nice hats for prizes!
* Bradyn with Snap-On Tools for the sweet hats AND pocket screwdrivers for prizes!

Thank you all so much for your love and support, and again, we couldn’t have done this without you!
* Bill, Neil, Nic, and Greg for getting the parking lot cleaned up, weeds killed, smoothed up and watered down
* Nic and Greg for all the supplies, tents, cords, umbrella (lol,) buckets, tables etc you let us borrow, help with set up and tear down!
* Tim and Lyn who let us borrow speakers and a microphone for our announcements
* People of the fair board, especially including Chase, Jed, and Scott, for guidance and boots on the ground help with all the set-up, tear down, tents, ice runs, etc.
* Sam and Alex for your awesome unexpected help running the registration table
* Branden for everything! Planning, tent, trash can and bags, yellow rope, parking cars, putting up car show signs around town, set up and tear down, shuffling cars, being there ALL DAY to help with anything that needed done.
* All the people who handed out flyers: My mom, Scott K, Bill T, Brad M, everyone on the fair board, Jed, Sam, Chase… everyone that I am unaware of also!
* Everyone that shared the Facebook posts!!!

I am sure we forgot someone somewhere, please don’t take offense! It’s been a crazy last few weeks leading up to this but I really feel like it was a good turn out and I hope people of Sidney, Fremont County, and fair-goers enjoyed it, as well as the registrants! We have taken this experience and learned from it, and only hope to make this thing bigger and better with each year to come. Stay tuned and we’ll start planning for 2027! Here’s a photo of just some of the people who helped!

Quickly though, we wanted to thank everyone who braved the heat today to come to our first car show! We had a darn good turn out considering the heat index was well over 100 today, and it being our first show!!

We had a great time and hope you did, too.

*Fairgrounds, north end parking lot by pool
*FREE Registration 10-noon
*Show Noon - 4:30ish, awards at 4:45
*Top 3 People’s Choice Trophies 🏆🏆🏆
*We’ve got a few nice door prizes for car show registrants! 🎁💲🧽
*Limited free bottles of water
*Free will donation Cattlemen’s Association dinner to follow

Important notes:
*It’s our first year, bear with us!
*It’s going to be HOT so feel free to bring canopies for shade, and coolers.
*We will have a few totes of water on ice at the registration table while it lasts.
*Please enter from Park street, the east side entrance to the fairgrounds. Not the south entrance.
*Signs throughout town pointing you in the right direction
*Concession stand also avail at McElroy Bldg on fairgrounds
*Plenty of other fair activities going on all day and evening, check out Fremont County Extension and Outreach page, or Fremont County Fair Board for more info

Thank you to everyone who has contributed and helped pull this off! We appreciate it more than you know. We hope this will be a great turn out, despite the weather, so we can continue to grow this show each year!
