Last day on the job. Mark with some of his long time employees. Cathy Rogers, Tina Beatty, and behind them in photos.... Pat Eames, Lottie Mack, and Mr Shorty! So many memories were made in this little corner store! So many wonderful people came in and out of our lives while shopping and visiting at The J-Mart. We had so many regular customers that we regularly referred to the store as a community center! It will be so fun to remember Mark’s love of sports (remember those football pools and sports photos posted through the store!), and his love of history (costumed historical characters regularly appeared through the years at our store’s special events). Holidays were always celebrated with extra joy, wearing our costumes and having the LA Lottery show up to play a part. Today is bittersweet. We will miss meeting and greeting all of you, our wonderful customers and friends, and hope you will say hello if you see us out and about. 👋🏻 Happy Retirement Mark! 🏸🏒⛳️🏊♂️🪁
