Every Thursday night I will give you a ticket for showing up. Then in a couple months I will do a drawing and give away some cool stuff including some autographed models from the private collection of pro street king Matt and Debbie hay!
I got new led lighting for the wood shop . That's where the model car class will be meeting. the lighting last year sucked. The shop should be super bright.

There is Hot Rod school tonight. 6-8. bristol Masters Hot Rod School and Museum Bristol Indiana I had surgery on my privates yesterday and have to take it easy but to me school is cool and i can't miss it. I have a couple more surgeries "down there" coming soon but when done I should have all the parts I started with . That is great news from my perspective. I need someone with a chainsaw to remove a large branch from my shop roof. It's been there for a year and I need help.

I would have loved to hit some events this year. my health and a screwed up wheelchair I have done almost nothing but my hot rod school. I have that down to only a couple of kids. I am getting ready to move all the cars around and get the red 33 delivery and matching pickup ready for detroit copo hall spring. First time out together after well over 50 years of storage.

Here is the mini bike I picked up the other day. it is for sale 400.00 It's a JC Penney El tigre which is a copy of a Speedway Greenhorn. Information on Speedway minibikes and their history is pretty scarce. But from what I can find, Speedway was started by two former Rupp minibike employees (both Rupp and Speedway were located in Mansfield Ohio). I believe the main man was John Morrow (who was married to the daughter from Taylor Products.) Hence Speedway was a division of Taylor Metal Products (with their financing). Speedway did not exist for a long time. It looks like they where around from 1970 to 1974 only. Their downfall appears to happen about April 1974, with their sale to the Fox Corporation (Janesville WI). I have not decided what to do with this one yet. it would make a bad ass running barn find.

Masters Hot Rod School and Museum Bristol Indiana Class is Tuesday as it has been for over 12 years. Class is 6-8 come early or stay late if you like. More experienced students will be dialing in some wiring in the drivers ed camaro. The younger students will be cleaning and painting a couple of go kart frames. I have 3 buildable go kart frames now and still need two more. We will be building them for the students new and old will be racing them august 24t. Class should be fun.

WANTED: I need to build 5 fiberglass bodied 212 powered yard carts for my August 24 PROMOTIONAL GO KART dirt flat track race here at my estate in Bristol Indiana. These will be for my students from the free MASTERS HOT ROD SCHOOL! See our school page and my home page for more details.. These students may not be able to afford them. Some even live where having their own cart is impossible. I am just looking for basic frames, bodies for cheap. better frames for cheap. you get the Idea. Broken Fiberglass bodies are cool I can do basic fiberglass work. The students and I will do weld repair on frames. I will take any free go Kart parts I can get.
