Bravo Team Needs Our Help! 11 of 12 rigs are down.
Bravo Team is a combined team of First Responders, Veterans and Veteran Family Members who volunteer behind the scenes their time and equipment during disasters known and unknown. Bravo team performs Evacuations of Livestock and other animals along with their owners. It provides Search And Rescue with K-9 & Equine Teams, Livestock Triage. They haul water and other essential supplies for livestock, Ranchers and Farmers immediately after a disaster. They also Transport Recovery & Rebuild Items for those who lose it all.
Lone Star Garage LLC is proud sponsor of United Animal Industries and has offered to Donate 100% of the labor to get two of the rigs back to hauling relief supplies to the Panhandle Fire Victims. If you could please join us and donate what you can to help with parts and tow bills. We are also offering to donate 50% of the labor for other Panhandle Fire Relief Haulers.
No one is talking anymore about the biggest fire Texas has ever seen. The panhandle region has yet to recover from the multiple previous fire disasters, and the public is unaware. The help to bring much needed relief supplies to the victims of these disasters has dwindled. United Animal Industries’ New Hope Livestock Disaster Relief Division (New Hope LDRD) is one of the few organizations that is providing relief to Farmers and Ranchers. Farmers and Ranchers are the industry that feeds the nation and beyond.
Help save this critical industry. Donate to get the willing and able teams back out moving much needed supplies that have been donated by gracious donors..
One of Bravo Team’s rigs (Bravo 5) was used to haul windmills used to draw water from the ground for livestock. This rig is owned by a Veteran who graciously donated its use for this relief effort. This kind gesture by someone who has already fought for our country has backfired. While in use for disaster relief It broke down, and required a $2000.00 tow bill to get home. Since then it has been determined that the fuel system is in need of repair requiring a new High Pressure Oil Pump (HEUI) and Injector O-rings at minimum. The last estimate to repair this was $3000.00, and could be more once repairs are started. This rig needs to be towed to Lone Star Garage for repairs, since we are graciously donating the labor to repair. Another rig also needs to be towed here. The estimated tow bill is $1500.00 each rig.
While in use for disaster relief the 44’ flat bed trailer used to haul these windmills, The rear axle broke, with a yet undiagnosed issue and need repair, and likely replacement. If replaced the 15k pound capacity axle would cost thousands just in parts.
Bravo 2 that is Veteran Family owned, went down evacuating livestock during Hurricane Ida, and has been down since. The loss of use of this rig has been a huge financial burden on the owners as it was needed to support their personal farm. When this rig went down, other relief teams promised help to get the rig back on the road, and even raised money to do so, but instead left them behind.
Maybe with your help we can get at least a couple rigs in this fleet running again, to be there now for the panhandle, when they need it most. We also need these rigs available for future disaster response. Most of all, it's our goal to unite with you to show some humanity by not letting these servants be left behind again.
We can do better for those who helped us and continue to help us in our time of need. Let's unite and get these generous souls their work trucks back road worthy. This is the least we can do for these veterans who not only fought for your freedom, and continue to protect and serve to help others every single day.
We would like to be able to say when the dust settles and everyone goes home, we can still roll in hope. We know all of this is in God's hand and if it be his will for United Animal Industries New Hope LDRD to continue to be his hands and feet, he will send the resources and the right people in our path to get these good folks back on the road.
