Hello, I'm Eric Stuteville from Stuteville Chevrolet and the Texoma Chevy
Dealers. Today, we proudly present Michael Brooks with $750 as one of
Texoma's Golden Apples of the Month.

Michael is a member of the maintenance team at Silo Public Schools,
but his impact on the school goes far beyond his job description. He is
known as one of the hardest-working people on campus and is always
willing to step in wherever he is needed.

Whether he's repairing sinks and air conditioners, hanging decorations,
planting flowers, or preparing the school for important events, Michael
is constantly working behind the scenes to make Silo Schools a better
place for students and staff. If something needs to be done, Michael is
often the first one there to help.

What makes Michael especially deserving of this recognition is the
relationship he has built with the students. He attends sporting events
to cheer on Silo's athletes, encourages them, and helps keep them
excited and motivated. His students know that he isn't just there to do
a job—he genuinely cares about them.

Michael's dedication, work ethic, and willingness to go above and
beyond make him an important part of the Silo Schools family.

Hi, I’m Ryan Roberts with Sherman Chevrolet and the Texoma Chevy
Dealers. We’re thrilled to honor Luca Raner with a $1,000 Texoma
Excellence in Fine Arts Scholarship for his outstanding achievements.

Luca is an exceptionally talented percussionist who has been an active
member of the Van Alstyne High School band since his freshman year.
He is a two-time Texas 4A All-State percussionist, a two-time
Outstanding Performer in Solo & Ensemble, and was selected as a
member of the prestigious Arsenal Drum & Bugle Corps for 2026.

Luca’s talents extend well beyond his own performances. As a drum
major and leader within the band and drumline, he leads by example
and takes the time to tutor and give lessons to less-experienced
musicians. He also balances his dedication to music with advanced-level
classes, student council, community service, and an impressive 4.79
GPA.

After graduation, Luca plans to attend a four-year university and major
in engineering. Although he has chosen a different field for his career,
music remains a passion, and he hopes to continue performing with his
college band and percussion line.

Hi, I’m Gordon Jobe with Stuteville Chevrolet and the Texoma Chevy Dealers. We are here to present Brinlee Anderson with a $1,000.00 scholarship for being our A+ Athlete of the Week.

Brinlee is an outstanding student-athlete who demonstrates determination and a strong work ethic in everything she does. Ranked fourth in her class with a 4.07 GPA, she is a member of the National Honor Society and student council. She also takes concurrent courses at Murray State, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA.

That same dedication carries over to athletics. Brinlee is an infielder for the Tushka Lady Tigers softball team and has earned All-Conference honors every year she has played. She has also been named Conference MVP and Pitcher of the Year, while Prep Nation has recognized her as Top Offensive Hitter and Infielder of the Year. Brinlee has helped lead the Lady Tigers to multiple state tournament appearances.

Brinlee’s teachers and coaches describe her as competitive, caring, and determined to always give her best. She strives to be a good citizen, cares about those around her, and has learned through softball the importance of leadership, independence, and working hard for what she wants to achieve.

Hi, I’m Joel Northcutt with Tishomingo Chevrolet and the Texoma Chevy Dealers. We are delighted to honor Audrey Blackburn with a $1,000 Texoma Excellence in Fine Arts Scholarship.

Audrey is a talented and dedicated artist who has been involved in the fine arts since elementary school. She made history at Madill High School as the first student to earn a Gold Key in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and has consistently earned top honors at the Madill Art Expo and Marshall County Fair. She also serves as President of the National Art Honor Society and is a state finalist in Speech.

But Audrey’s impact goes well beyond her own accomplishments. She stays after school to mentor younger artists, creates artwork and props for school organizations, and uses her talents to encourage and inspire others. Her creativity, leadership, and willingness to give back have made a lasting impact on her school’s art community.

Audrey plans to attend culinary school and one day open her own bakery, where she hopes to combine her love of culinary and visual arts by creating a space where local artists can showcase their work.

Audrey, your talent, hard work, and passion for the arts truly represent what the Texoma Excellence in Fine Arts Scholarship is all about.

Hi, I’m Joel Northcutt with Tishomingo Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers. We are here to present Jolie House with a $1,000.00 scholarship for being our A+ Athlete of the Week.

Jolie is an outstanding student-athlete who demonstrates dedication and determination in everything she does. Ranked fourth in her class with a 3.92 GPA, she is a member of the National Honor Society and Indian Honor Society and maintains a 4.0 GPA in her college classes. She is also a three-time Academic All-District honoree, serves on student council, and is active in FFA.

That same drive carries over to athletics. Jolie is a four-year starter for the Lady Cats, serving as their leadoff hitter and centerfielder with a batting average over .500. She has earned All-District honors three times and was named District Defensive Player of the Year. She also competes in track as a member of the 4x100 relay team.

Jolie’s coaches describe her as a competitive, dedicated leader who leads by example and always gives 100 percent. Whether she’s in the classroom or competing on the field, Jolie strives to be the best version of herself and sets an example for those around her.

Hello, I'm Ryan Roberts from Sherman Chevrolet and the Texoma Chevy Dealers. Today, we proudly present Renee Jacquez with $750 as Texoma's Golden Apple of the Month.

For more than 20 years, Renee has dedicated herself to educating and encouraging students. As a science teacher at Van Alstyne High School, she brings passion and energy to her classroom every day. She finds creative ways to make learning engaging and memorable and has a special ability to reach students at all levels.

Renee's impact also reaches far beyond the classroom. As the Student Council sponsor, she has helped strengthen student leadership and school spirit. She was instrumental in establishing a dedicated Student Council elective period and works tirelessly to make pep rallies, football games, homecoming activities, and other school events memorable for her students.

Whether she is spending her own money on classroom supplies, helping build a homecoming float, or giving her time to support students and their activities, Renee continually goes above and beyond. She does it because she genuinely cares about her students, her school, and her community.

Renee is the kind of educator who doesn't simply show up to teach—she shows up for her students with her whole heart. Her dedication has made a lasting difference at Van Alstyne High School.
