We are saddened to see the property damage many of our tenants have in the community but are thankful for the lack of major damage and our thoughts are with those in Western Kentucky. While many of you may have the ability to make the repairs yourselves to your skirting and awnings, others may need to file an insurance claim.

New mailboxes are coming along in Hickory Acres!

On Monday we will talk to the Shepherdaville Post Office about getting their master locks installed and we should be ready to hand out a key to each resident on Tuesday November 16th.

You can pick up keys between 9:30 - 12:15 and 1:45 - 5:00 Monday through Friday.

You must wear a mask to enter the office!

If you need to schedule a different time to pick them up, please call the office for alternative arrangements.

Remember we will only give keys to residents listed on the lease and that are over 18.

We have a newer pre-owned home that is almost ready to move into. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, fresh paint, new carpet, central air, and the fridge is brand new and the stove and dishwasher are like new.

The home has a great open concept layout. We added a nice sidewalk up to the deck, the home has been pressure washed and we are staining the deck tomorrow and installed new upgraded skirting.

Don't Forget the Community Yard Sale Next Saturday, September 18th!

Make sure you are sale ready and have change for your customers. If you have grocery bags lying around, those are always good to have on hand for your customers. Hopefully the weather is great but keep plastic or tarps on hand for quick cover of your items if we get a spot of rain. And if it's sunny, don't forget the sunblock!

Also, as a reminder, residents are setting up at their homes this year. The traffic is going to be heavy in each community. Watch young children and pets and give yourself extra time to get in and out of the communities.

The community yard sale will be held on the 3rd Saturday of September. We are asking residents to set up at their own homes this year as opposed to years past where everyone set up by the basketball courts in Hickory Acres.

The event is rain or shine.

Side Note: We understand that there will be more traffic in the communities those days. Please plan accordingly, especially in Hickory Acres where it may be more difficult to see to get in or out. Residents are welcome to use parking by the office those days if it is easier. Also, please ensure that children and pets are being watched closely with the increased traffic.

Good Evening Residents:

This dog has been running loose throughout Autumn Leaf. We are unsure who he belongs to, but if he is yours please keep him leashed otherwise animal control may be called for his safety. We don’t want a tenant have to bail a pup out of doggy jail but would rather do that than see him injured by a car or something else.

It is a requirement of the lease that all pets be on a hand held leash when outside the home. This is for the safety of the animal and the safety of all tenants in the community. We need all residents to comply with this requirement. Fences, kennels, chains, etc. are not permitted.
