Hey parents, we know you don't want to hear this, but August will be here before you know it.

Every year there is the same last-minute rush in August: a college kid heading back to school with a car that came back from school with an issue that kept getting pushed off, until it can't. Don't let that be your kid this year!

Bring their car in NOW while there's no deadline, no panic, and no "they leave in two days... so I need it back by tomorrow." Whether it's just an oil change or brakes, or something bigger, we'll get it taken care of NOW so you'll have one less thing to worry about at the end of summer.

You know what he actually wants? Those tires he's been mentioning since March. An oil change he doesn't have to schedule, or drop-off himself. Or maybe a samurai sword (seriously, a samurai sword would be cool). We can help with the car stuff.

"It's just dripping a little"
Ok... let's do the math.
Let's say that a "small" oil leak drips about 1 drop per minute.
It doesn't sound like much... until you see the numbers:

1 drop/min = about 2.5 oz every 24 hours
Over a week = 17 ounces per week
Over a month = about 2 quarts

Here's the problem — most engines only hold 4–6 quarts total.
That means in just one month, your engine could be running at half capacity. Let that go on for more than a month, and things get real serious. Low oil = metal on metal contact = engine damage that can become very expensive.
