THURSDAY — BUILT FROM THE FRAME UP!
1959 Kellison J4R
Sometimes a restoration takes more than a little wrench turning. Sometimes you have to get right down to the bones!
This rare 1959 Kellison J4R is getting some serious attention in the Traffic Jams shop. From the fiberglass body to the exposed chassis, this is the kind of project that shows what custom building is all about.
The Bobfather says: "Some cars you fix. Some cars you build. And some you practically bring back from the dead!"
Let's feature both actual photos, with the chassis work as the main attraction and the body on the trailer as a smaller inset.

Wednesday – What's in the Shop?
1941 Plymouth: From Barn Find to Back on the Road!
This is a great one for our Wednesday feature! I'd use your actual photo of the Plymouth, clean up the busy shop background a little, and keep that wonderful original black finish and whitewall tire.
The headline:
"1941 PLYMOUTH — THE MICE HAD A FIELD DAY!"
The story: No fuel, no brakes, won't start, and the mice have chewed up the electrical system. But the Traffic Jams crew is bringing this old Plymouth back to life!
By the end of the week, the goal is a new fuel system, rebuilt brake system, and fresh electrical converted to 12 volts.

🔧 TUESDAY TIP FROM TRAFFIC JAMS SPEED SHOP!

YOUR TRANSMISSION'S TWO BIGGEST ENEMIES: DIRT & HEAT!

Our shop manager Jeff has been rebuilding transmissions for nearly 40 years, and if there's one thing he's learned, it's that dirt and excessive heat can destroy a transmission!

Today's vehicles are more complicated than ever. Engine compartments are packed tighter, temperatures can run high, and not every transmission uses the same type of fluid.

Here's what Jeff wants you to know:

🔧 Not all transmission fluids are created equal! Using the wrong fluid can cause serious damage. Some transmissions even require specialized fluids rather than traditional automatic transmission fluid.

🌡️ Heat is the enemy! Excessive heat breaks down transmission fluid and can damage internal components. Today's tightly packed engine compartments can make managing heat even more challenging.

⚙️ Clean fluid matters! Dirt, debris, and worn-out fluid can cause premature wear and expensive repairs.

🛠️ Know your maintenance schedule! Some transmissions have serviceable filters, while others have different maintenance requirements. There's no one-size-fits-all service.

🏁 BOBFATHER SAYS: MEET MATT!

From Jeep Customer to Wrenchlife Family!

Sometimes the best friendships start with a set of wheels!

I first met Matt when I sold him a Jeep. Later, we restored another Jeep for him, and somewhere along the way, he became part of our Wrenchlife family.

Matt owns Lucky Boer Goats and Lucky Arms, a fi****ms and am******on business that sponsored last year's big car show raffle prize.

But Matt does a whole lot more than sponsor prizes!

🚗 He's our go-to guy for organizing parking at the car shows.

🤝 He's a huge help bringing in sponsors.

🔧 And he's always willing to jump in and tackle about a million other things that keep our charity shows rolling!

People like Matt are the reason a small group of volunteers can put on big events and raise money for local charities.

🚗 FRIDAY FEATURE — LIVIN' THE WRENCHLIFE!

10,000 MILES AND STILL MAKING MEMORIES!

We had a special visit this week!

On Indigenous Peoples' Day, some past customers stopped by Traffic Jams dressed in traditional hides, bringing along their classic car that we worked on a couple of years ago.

And boy, have they been enjoying it!

Since we worked on their car, they've put approximately 10,000 miles on it!

Just last weekend, they took a 500-mile trip up north to their cabin with their grandkids. Now THAT is what old cars are meant for!

This time, they stopped in to get their ride winterized so they can keep enjoying it.

At Traffic Jams, we love seeing our customers actually DRIVE their classics. These cars aren't just meant to sit in a garage looking pretty. They're meant for road trips, family adventures, and making memories that last a lifetime.

That's what we call LIVIN' THE WRENCHLIFE!
