Body repair stage process.
If you look closely you will see tiny rock chips in the paint. When you sand them out you see tiny rust spots on the metal. Most shops will fill the rock chips and that is the fast and easy way to push to paint and keep the prices down. It also takes a fraction of the time rather than feathering it out and priming it so it’s done right. This is not the way to protect your investment as rust will spread underneath your new finish and compromise your new paint work. What I’m exposing is what too expect when you pay someone less or except the cheaper bid. When you do stuff right it lasts a long time. When you fill stuff in it doesn’t last long and it’s not even worth repairing it at that point because it’s a paint failure waiting to happen. This is just something simple that I wanted to explain.
