Well, the bittersweet time has come! Forty-seven + years ago, Mom and Dad opened the very first Goodyear store in the Tampa Bay area. Prior to that, Fred was an aeronautical engineer with Goodyear Aerospace, but sunny weather was calling, and he answered! Fred and Mary made many close friends and called their customers family. After Fred passed, Dwayne joined Mary in the shop , followed by Lisa some years later. We've had some "like-family" staff members over the years, like Dean, Mark L, Mark R, Arden, Chico, Jamal, and Kenny, to name a few. The fantastic Todd was with us, so loyal and wonderful, for 37 years, and Carl the same for 27 years. Andrew has been indispensable to us, and he will stay on staff. The baton is now passed to Pat DeLorenzo, along with Kenny, Joe, and Wes. We have known Pat (and Ken) for about 30 years, and we could not be happier that he is the new owner. Pat has been in the area all along, and we know he and his staff will treat our customers with honesty and respect. We will dearly miss seeing our multi-generational customers, but we know you are in GREAT hands. Please stop by and introduce yourself to the guys! Meanwhile, you may find Dwayne on the golf course and Lisa on her bike, at least for a couple months, anyway! Love ya, Seminole!
