Get ready for the biggest race of the Retama meet - the FASTEST JOCKEY ON THE TRACK foot race!!! The heats start at 5:45 before the races with the final to run between two of the horse races, which will be determined tomorrow night! Claudio Ponce & Raul Hernandez are front runners, but will there be a come from behind runner to overtake them??? Come see who will take home the 2024 title of the FASTEST JOCKEY ON THE TRACK!!!

Joose Boxx had so many friends cheering him on when he won the TQHA Futurity tonight at Retama that we had to take it to the track for the win photo. Congratulations to owner, Javier de los Santos Muzquiz, trainer, Juan Diaz, Jr., & jockey, Nestor Duran!!

I'm starting to see a pattern with the Tempting Dash line. Joose Boxx (Kiss My Hocks), winner of the 2024 TQHA Sale Futurity - Gr I, Red Reddington (Kiss My Hocks) 2nd in the 2024 Sam Houston Futurity - Gr II, & Tempting Alibi (Tempting Dash) 2024 Leon Bard Memorial Stakes & TQHA 250 Stakes winner all fly over the track when all stretched out with no hooves touching the ground. In 18 1/2 years, I've seen these 3 & Brim of Royalty do this. ❤️

I'm not saying the kid (at my age, they're all kids) can ride a little but Ali Rivera did win on 2 different breeds going 3 different distances tonight & looked good on all of them. Congratulations, Ali!

Marshall & his friends chose Retama Park as the place to celebrate his birthday, & they had the entire grandstand join in on singing "Happy Birthday" to him before the last race. Happy Birthday, Marshall!!
