No rest for the wicked

I reserve Sundays for rest and relaxation with the family. It wasn’t but 1500 miles ago I rebuilt the motor, replaced the transmission, and replaced the entire front suspension on the family van. The one part I chose not to replace conveniently goes bad a month an a half later. What could have been a 30 minute job has now turned into a 3 hour ordeal.

Moral of the story, it your in pretty deep and think to yourself, it might be a good idea to replace this given how hard it would be if I didn’t……. Replace the part and have PEACE OF MIND.

This momma has been without her van as a full time momma for over two weeks now. What’s a better Mother’s Day gift than getting her back into her full size ride!!

2014 Ford Fusion 1.5L Eco Boost

Replaced water pump, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, and oil cooler.

Customer dropped off on a Friday night. Started work right away and well into the night. Customer received a phone call by midday today (Saturday) stating the repairs were finished and ready for pickup. What took less than a day to get repaired would have left the customer days without a car for repairs elsewhere….. and the wallet is much fatter!

1989 Ford Festiva
On the schedule
For today I replaced the water pump, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, bled the entire braking system.

We are so close to being able to drive this gem for the first time in over 15 years! Hoping to to get it rolling soon so we can get off to paint and the glass shop for a new windshield!
