Intermittent electrical issues can be some of the toughest problems to track down — but that’s where in-depth diagnostics pay off!

This machine came in with an intermittent no-start, rough running, inconsistent fuel pump prime, and injector pulse issues. Rather than throwing parts at it, we worked through the system step-by-step, testing fuel pressure, injector operation, ECU inputs/outputs, connections, and wiring.

After extensive diagnostics, we finally tracked the problem down to a break inside the main wiring harness. The damaged circuit was intermittently losing connection, causing the injectors to pulse inconsistently and preventing the fuel pump from priming properly.

These are the kinds of failures that can easily lead to unnecessary parts replacement when the real problem is buried inside the wiring harness.

Diagnose it. Find the actual failure. Fix it right the first time. 🔧

One problem can create a domino effect FAST.

That loose secondary retaining bolt didn’t stop at the clutch — it had already begun causing damage to the transmission input shaft.

Catching issues like this early can be the difference between repairing a developing problem and replacing an entire transmission after a catastrophic failure.
