Angela brought us her 2023 Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail Edition with one simple request:

“I used my Jeep all weekend at the beach with the top off, and it’s so hard to hear the factory stereo. I need a system done.”

WE GOT YOU. 🔊🔥

Her Gladiator came equipped with the factory amplified audio system featuring 3” upper dash tweeters, 4” lower dash speakers, 3” tweeters and 4” midbass speakers in the tower soundbar, plus a factory subwoofer. Unfortunately, the factory setup just couldn’t keep up with Florida beach days and top-off cruising.

We started by removing the factory audio components and integrating a PAC Audio APH-CH03 Amp Bypass Harness into an AudioControl LC5i PRO Line Output Converter with AccuBASS® and signal summing. Power comes from a pair of Concrete Audio amplifiers, including a CA1200.4SLM 4-channel amplifier and a CA1500.1SLM mono amplifier.

The new setup features:
▪️ Concrete Audio CT38 3.6″ Super Tweeter
in the upper dash
▪️ Concrete Audio CCA6NDCFCX4 6.5” Carbon Fiber Cone CCA Coaxials in the lower dash
▪️ Concrete Audio CCA69NDCF4 6x9” Carbon Fiber Cone Midrange speakers in the tower soundbar
▪️ Dual 10” Skar VS-10 Shallow Mount Subwoofers in a ported under-seat enclosure

The result? Crystal-clear vocals, incredible output, and bass that you can feel. Whether cruising with the top off or parked at the beach, this Gladiator is now guaranteed to turn heads and keep the music front and center.

The smile on Angela’s face at delivery made every hour of the install worth it. Thank you for trusting JED Autoworx with your Jeep!

Eddie’s Audi B8.5 RS5 4.2L V8 is back in the shop for this intermittent hot start issue that had us digging deep.

After extensive research and consulting with some of our Audi technician friends, we decided to take a less invasive approach and replace the crankshaft position sensor. Even though the vehicle wasn’t storing any fault codes related to the CPS, it made sense as the next logical step before moving into the much more labor-intensive process of removing the intake manifold to inspect the fuel injectors.

Following 2½ days of testing under multiple driving conditions, heat soak cycles, shutdowns, and hot restarts, we’re happy to report that the RS5 has not experienced a single hot start issue since the repair.

With the starting concern resolved, Eddie also asked us to clean up some aftermarket audio wiring that was installed prior to his ownership. We fabricated a custom carpeted birch wood panel and reorganized the amplifier and line output converter wiring in the spare tire well for a much cleaner, more professional appearance.

Nothing beats solving a challenging diagnostic issue and sending a customer home with a vehicle they can enjoy with confidence.

Finished up Frank’s clean MK4 Jetta GLI with a fresh round of maintenance and upgrades to keep it driving its best.

We started with a oil service, replaced the right front ABS wheel speed sensor harness, installed new strut mount bushings, and fitted a new projector headlight with fresh HID bulbs to improve nighttime visibility.

Frank also wanted a custom lighting setup, so we rewired the city lights to operate from the fog light position on the factory headlight switch. This allows him to cruise with just the parking lights when desired while still being able to shut them off when running the low beams.

To wrap things up, we adjusted the suspension dampening for a more comfortable daily-driver setup. After the final test drive, it’s safe to say this may be one of the smoothest-riding MK4s we’ve driven in a long time. It honestly doesn’t drive like a 22-year-old car.

This is the 3rd MK7 GTI we’ve had in the shop over the last two months with a failed Coolant Shut-Off Valve (N82) — must be the Florida heat taking its toll!

We got ’s GTI taken care of by replacing the faulty N82 valve, then properly vacuum-filled and bled the cooling system to eliminate any air pockets and ensure everything is operating as it should.

Keeping these MK7s cool and reliable, one repair at a time.

brought his MK6 Golf R by the shop for a thorough inspection and to address a few concerns. At the top of the list was diagnosing an A/C system that was only blowing hot air from the vents.

We performed a complete A/C service to verify the refrigerant charge was within factory specifications and conducted a leak test to ensure system integrity. During diagnosis, we found the cooling fans were not operating properly, with the primary fan cycling on and off intermittently. To restore proper operation, we replaced the original fan assembly with a new Nissens fan assembly.

After repairs, the cooling fans operated as intended and the A/C system was back to delivering cold air consistently.

While the vehicle was in the shop, we also diagnosed several concerns with the Dynaudio system and put together a plan for future car audio upgrades.

, thank you as always for trusting us with your Golf R and giving us the opportunity to keep it performing the way it should.

Chris’ MK7 GTI stopped by for a solid round of maintenance and performance upgrades.

We knocked out a new front O2 sensor and PCV breather hose, then upgraded reliability with an aluminum oil pan. Brake system got a full refresh with front rotors paired with YellowStuff pads and rear rotors with RedStuff pads, along with stainless-steel brake lines, cleaned calipers/carriers, and a complete brake fluid flush.

Also installed a Diverter Valve, rear sway bar, and finished it off with an A/C service to keep everything running smooth and ready for the road.
