Hello Grip Automotive followers!

Yes it's been a while since I posted. I haven't made much progress on getting stuff sorted and organized as I have been too busy fixing cars for everyone.

Speaking of which, this was an interesting project. Did a battery swap on a Tesla Model S for a customer. It should have gone nice and easy but the computer gave me fits trying to run the update to get the BMS on a compatible firmware. Took WAY too long but I finally got it to complete the upload.

One P100D back on the road! Oh and I gotta say that Ludicrous mode is pretty stout. It's not a Plaid but man it's still fast!

Wait till you see what I've been up to on the next Tesla I've been working on! :)

Update on the moving project!

Like most things it's taking longer than expected but we are making progress.

I will have access to the back bay lift next week, so I am going to start taking in a limited amount of work next week. I am shooting for 3 days per week until I am back up and running 100%.

Of course we all know that 3 days turns into 5 but I really do need to try to keep it at 3 so I have enough time to make good progress on this moving project.

So if you need something let me know starting next week and we'll go from there.

The time has come!

I am excited yet filled with dread at the task before me.

Excited because the time has come to move into my shop expansion. Filled with dread because that means many hours of working moving, sorting and organizing all of the crap in my shop.

So the shop will be closed for 3-4 weeks as I make this happen. It won't be easy but I hope the results will be worth it!
