Could you imagine no road or vehicle damage from salt!

Every winter, millions of birds across northern Europe suffer from dehydration after ingesting toxic road salt spread to melt ice. But Sweden has found a brilliant solution — an edible, eco-friendly road salt made from beet extract and maize starch.

This new formula not only melts ice efficiently but also provides safe hydration and nutrients for wildlife that feed near roads. Developed through a collaboration between environmental engineers and biologists, the mixture works at low temperatures and doesn’t corrode roads or vehicles like conventional rock salt.

The red-tinted formula (from beetroot pigments) also makes icy patches more visible to drivers, reducing accidents. As the compound dissolves, it leaves behind no harmful runoff — only biodegradable residue that benefits soil and nearby vegetation.

Now, several Nordic and European countries are studying Sweden’s innovation, hoping to replicate it on their own highways. It’s a rare case where engineering, ecology, and empathy meet — turning winter maintenance into a model of sustainability.

We Did It - Officially Certified! 🎉

Yesterday morning we received something huge.

RAD Media Coaching dba The Action Sports Club has just been officially recognized by the Government of Canada as a certified educational institution.

This isn’t just "another course" or "some program." This certification puts us in the same category as trusted colleges and skill-training schools.

It proves that what we’re building together isn’t just valuable… it meets nationally recognized standards for skill development in real occupations.

This is a win for all of us.

Because it shows that athletes in action sports finally have a seat at the table. A place where our passion and our future are being taken seriously at the highest level.

Big moment for the community. Big moment for the culture!
