Not everyone gets the chance to grow where they started. Ben did.

What began as a career turning wrenches has grown into something much bigger. Ben has officially stepped into a new role as co-owner at Swedish Automotive, and we couldn’t be more proud of the journey that brought him here.

One of the things that matters most to our shop is supporting people beyond the job title they started in. Goals change, opportunities grow, and hard work deserves the chance to lead somewhere meaningful.

Ben’s story is a reminder that when people are supported, trusted, and encouraged, incredible things can happen. From technician to co-owner, this next chapter is well earned, and we’re excited to see where it leads.

A clean street says a lot about the people who care for their community.

Earlier this April, volunteers gathered for another neighborhood cleanup through Seattle’s Adopt-A-Street program, helping make local streets cleaner and more welcoming for everyone who lives, works, and drives through the area every day. Small efforts like these may not seem huge in the moment, but they make a real difference over time.

Being a local shop means more to us than automotive repair. It means investing in the community around us and doing our part to keep Seattle welcoming, clean, and connected.

Some of the most critical repairs happen beneath the surface. Suspension components, steering systems, exhaust routing, and drivetrain connections all work together in ways most drivers never think about.

The automotive industry needs more young people willing to learn the trade and build a real career. That’s one reason we appreciate having Jacob on the team.

He’s one of the younger guys around the shop, but he comes in ready to work, ask questions, and improve every day. No acting like he knows it all. Just a solid attitude and a strong work ethic.

In an industry facing a shortage of new technicians, that mindset stands out.

Modern automotive repair is all about problem-solving, technology, and continuous learning. Young people who are willing to grow into the role are the future of this industry.
