We’ve teamed up with Saving Great Animals - Dog Rescue to celebrate Subaru Loves Pets Month by shining a spotlight on adorable, adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes! 🐶🧡 💙

Throughout October, we’re also hosting a Pet Supplies Drive at Carter Subaru Shoreline and Carter Subaru Ballard to support local rescue animals.

Want to make a difference? Drop off pet supplies at either dealership this month and help give these deserving pets the care, comfort, and love they deserve. Every donation makes a difference! 🐾

Meet Roo! 🐕 Lovely Roo is an 8 month old mixed breed beauty. She may have some cattle dog in her - we are not quite sure. Her ears are just fabulous! Roo is a fun and adventurous girl. She’s up for playtime with toys or a friend and also a cuddle on the couch. Roo is very sweet and loves to please. She is just a puppy so still learning manners. She’s kennel trained, very smart and food motivated. She would love to have a similar sized dog in her new home and plays very well with other dogs. She is not sure about small dogs. Roo has been around children and enjoys them. She will do best with kids over 8. She does well with most people, but her early life may have been rough for her so may need slow introductions to new people. She may need a little more time to warm up to men but she is coming around. Roo will make a fantastic dog for anyone willing to put in the time with her as she can be active, but also laidback. She’s very affectionate and sweet.
Roo is available for adoption through our community partner Saving Great Animals - Dog Rescue 💙 🧡

Carter Subaru Loves Pets! 🧡 Meet Fly! 🐕‍🦺 This Border Collie mix is energetic, friendly, and full of personality. She’s a classic working dog with a strong herding drive, so she’s looking for a home that understands and embraces her Border Collie personality.
Fly will thrive with an active adopter who can give her plenty of daily physical exercise and mental enrichment. Fly would do best as the only dog in a home outside of a busy urban area, with space where she can run and can stretch her legs. A home with kids 7+ would be best for her.
Fly is available for adoption through our community partner, PAWS - Progressive Animal Welfare Society. If you’re interested in adopting, please visit the link to fill out an adoption form!
