Happy — and this one's for the dreamers. 🏁
Meet La Puce Bleue — The Blue Flea. A tiny fiberglass-bodied MINI Marcos that in 1966 showed up to Le Mans and did the unthinkable.
It finished 15th overall — and it was the only British car to complete the race that year. While Fords and Ferraris fought for glory, this little blue flea just kept going. All 24 hours. Against cars that cost ten times as much and had twice the engine.
Then it disappeared. Stolen in 1975, it vanished for decades — a ghost of one of motorsport's greatest underdog stories.
Some cars are built to win. Others are built to prove a point.
This was both. 💙
