Well, Steve’s 1960 Willys wood hauler is done.He just wanted it fixed up so he could haul some firewood around this property so it’s not a restoration. It’s more like a taking two jeeps and making one out of them. His frame was really bad so he had another Jeep that we took the frame and cut it in half and spliced them together finally putting his Pick Up bed back on it and I think it turned out pretty good. Everything functions again brake’s, lights ,springs tune up . Not all Jeeps are pretty faces. This one is a worker .

Well, I know not Jeep related but I bought this is a 1947 Ford 8 N tractor back in the summertime and it needs some work so we’re gonna bring it in the shop and do a rebuild on the hydraulic system. I used to work on these things back in the 1970s when I was younger, so I know how to work on them. This one is a 1947 model first year they came out serial number 4747 I thought that was kind of neat. Well I might start restoring these two . Well all back together and working and it’s not leaking so I guess it’s successful. Put a smile on my face anyway

Doing the brakes over on Steve’s 1960 Willys Pick Up “Work truck” wood hauler can’t get over how great this motor runs. This truck sat for like 30 years outside. The back half of the frame was totally destroyed by rust so we spliced the back frame from Steves 1958 parts pick up to make it work,
The frame is now stronger than it was factory . It should go on to have many more years of hauling wood and plowing . This is a “Work Truck” not a pretty face. This is what I call a “refurbishment” of the parts that are worn, out new fuel tank, new brake system ,rebuild carburetor getting it functional putting the Pick Up bed back on and back to work it goes. This is not a restoration. It’s a “refurbishment “ of worn out components to make functional .

Well, putting the finishing touches on Bradley‘s 1974 CJ 5 this was sitting about 30 years too outside I believe . It took two Jeeps to put it together to make one. I knew I had a before picture somewhere, quite a transformation.
