David and Diana Kilburn, life-long residents of Scott County, are the owners of Scott County Auto Center, Inc. David started in October 1993 after working in the auto industry since the age of 15. He opened his business in a building that was previously a local gas station with two bays. Over the years, they have grown in the current building they are in now (next door) with over 10,200 square fe

et and over 22 bays for vehicles. They have 7 employees and state of the art equipment including two paint booths, a paint parts room, Car-O-Liner fram rack, alignment machine, wash and detail bay. Scott County Auto Center's technicians are all I-Car certified and we are considered "direct repair" for many insurance companies. David and Diana Kilburn were raised in Scott County and have raised their children in Scott County. They believe in supporting local businesses and schools in the community. David is a long time board member of the Scott County Chamber of Commerce. Scott County Auto Center has been a big supporter of Scott County 4H, We Care, Kids First, Scott County School District 1 & 2 and their programs, along with many other youth programs.

We got a real laugh out of this customer’s car that came in with a band aid on it. We may have to order some of these with all of the parts issues. In all seriousness, for the past year we are so thankful for patient customers who have had to deal with the parts nightmares. Thankful that people have understood that we have had to put non-driveable cars before theirs. Yes, we have made a few people angry with months of parts delays but we are so overwhelmed and thankful for most people being understanding. We will continue to do the best we can under all of the unusual circumstances and difficulties thrown our way. Thank you so much to our wonderful community.
