We are looking for an assistant.

Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant reports to the Shop manager and will perform various routine, clerical duties to support the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of forms.
• Process and send all SFS invoices.
• Operate office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and applicants, as needed.
• Answer phones, direct calls to appropriate individuals, and prepare messages.
• Copy, sort, and file records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
• Prepare letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
• Sort incoming mail and deliver to appropriate department or individual.
• Maintain filing systems either manually or electronically.
• Contribute to profitability of all entities, as needed.
• Manage calendars and schedule appointments.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Clerical experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.

We are looking for a mechanic!

The primary function of the Scottsburg Fleet Service Diesel Mechanic is to diagnose and complete repairs on tractors trailers. This position includes tasks to diagnose, maintain, install, and repair components, engines, and systems related to heavy-duty vehicles.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, and one Saturday a month.

Pay: $20-$32 based on experience, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Conduct and analyze diagnostics tests on tractors.
Replace tractor engine components, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
Check tractor lighting systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on tractors.
Maintain detailed record of serviced tractor.
Adhere to inspection procedure checklist.
Maintain parts inventory.
Ensure cleanliness of shops and tractors.
Contribute to the profitability of all entities.
Communicate timely and effectively with all stakeholders.
Contribute to the team, offering creative ideas to improve efficiencies.
Travel, as needed.
Requirements

Valid driver's license
Basic math skills
Strong diagnostic skills
Knowledge of tractor trailers
The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50-75 LB.
The ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach in order to perform tasks on truck components.
High school diploma or GED
People-Oriented; You will work together with a group of great mechanics!
