This is the reality of owning your own company.

Its father's day, I should be home celebrating the father's in my life, especially my husband. Instead Im driving across the state to check out hail storms, and later this evening doing some hail repair in North Platte, NE. My partner/brother Joshua Gallier is also a father, he is driving up from Oklahoma to work this evening with me as well. I hate that I feel Ive pulled him away from his family.
The guilt we sometimes face is crippling. Missing out on family, especially when we both have been out of state working for the last 3 weeks. The weekends are the only time we get to cherish those we love right now, and now thats on the line too
Next time you see an individual with a nice vehicle, or going on vacation 6 times a year, building a new house with cash, or any of the things you think deserve the words "Must be nice." You might stop to think about the sacrifice that it takes to be able to do those things. I missed my twin boys first crawl, first steps, so many first. We sacrifice our family values, our marriage responsibility, our home lifes... All in order to provide a future for them.
Next time you get aggravated that a salesman is knocking on your door for storm related damages, remember that most of us are just trying to feed our families, chase our goals, be something "more." People are so quick to bash those in this industry or the roofing industry and then the very next breath condemn those on welfare not holding a job. Pick a side.
Im PROUD to be in this industry, I LOVE what I do. I treat my customers like family. Be kind when you can.

Started the week off at 2 body shops in Bonham, TX, Herndon's Auto Body is always a blast! Got to see my favorite tool man Biggs Anson Tool Van. Then off to Whitesboro,TX. Fixed up an awesome classic car at Red River Customs, and finished the week off in Holdenville Oklahoma.
Taking the drive back to North Platte NE to fix one at Remus Chevrolet & Corvette sunday/monday!
To say we are busy is an understatement! Grateful for our customers across the nation who keep us doing what we love doing!
