🚨 INDIANA STATE FAIR DERBY — DRIVER ENTRY & INSPECTION INFO 🚨

Drivers competing Saturday, August 22nd & Sunday, August 23rd, please read through this information and plan ahead before arriving at the Indiana State Fairgrounds!

📍 DRIVER ENTRANCE — GATE 2 (G2)
All derby drivers will need to enter the fairgrounds through Gate 2 (G2), located off 42nd Street.

⚠️ PLEASE ALLOW YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO GET INTO THE FAIRGROUNDS!
This is the Indiana State Fair, and traffic entering the grounds can get busy—especially during peak hours. Do not wait until the last minute to arrive. Give yourself extra time for traffic, getting through the gate, unloading and registration.

🔧 INSPECTION TIMES

SATURDAY, AUGUST 22ND
• Inspection begins: 1:00 PM
• Cars must be REGISTERED by 4:00 PM
• Cars must be STICKED by 5:00 PM
• Derby starts: 6:00 PM

SUNDAY, AUGUST 23RD
• Inspection begins: 11:00 AM
• Cars must be REGISTERED by 2:30 PM
• Cars must be STICKED by 3:30 PM
• Derby starts: 4:30 PM

🚨 LATE FEES
Any car that is NOT REGISTERED at least 2 hours before showtime will be charged a $100 late fee.

Any car that is NOT STICKED at least 1 hour before showtime will be charged a $100 late fee to continue through the inspection process.

🚗 PIT PARKING — DRIVERS ONLY

ONLY DRIVERS are authorized to park in the pits. This means the driver's truck and trailer bringing the derby car into the grounds.

No other vehicles are permitted to park in the pits regardless of the reason. Please plan accordingly.

This includes vehicles coming in to:
• Bring in parts
• Drop off coolers or supplies
• Transport crew members
• Golf carts
• Any other non-driver vehicles

Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner's expense.

🛻 POWER WHEELS: Power Wheels drivers will be permitted to park in the pits in a designated Power Wheels area.

Follow the marked route from Gate 2 (G2) off 42nd Street into the infield and pit area.

Please share this with your crew and anyone traveling with you so everyone knows the plan BEFORE arriving at the fairgrounds.
