KNOW THE DIFFERENCE: School buses will be active around the state next week. Here’s a reminder on what the different colored lights on a school bus indicate and what you should do if they’re flashing:

🟠 Amber Warning Lights: The school bus is about to stop. Slow down and prepare to stop.

🔴Red Warning Lights: Stop at least 20 feet from the bus whether approaching from either direction. The only exception is if you are traveling on the other side of a divided road that’s separated by a median or other physical barrier.

It’s Pi Day! Here are the steps to safely navigate the pie-shaped intersections known as roundabouts:

1. Slow down, yield to pedestrians/bicyclists
2. Look left and yield to traffic already in roundabout
3. Find space and safely enter to the right, travel counter-clockwise and exit when needed
