My name is Derek Marks and I am The Shop Automotive Detailing. I’ve been detailing cars since gas was $1.10 a gallon, Jerry Maguire said “show me the money!” for the first time and Tickle Me Elmo was the most sought after children's gift of the year. You guessed it, I’ve been making cars shine since 1996! In my 20 plus years in the detailing business I have had the opportunity to work with various chemicals, equipment, and mentors to perfect my craft. Along the way I expanded my expertise beyond just cars. I began to work on motorcycles, boats, and even commercial vehicles. I realized I have a natural talent when it comes to detailing.

In 2008 amidst the global financial crisis I decided to risk everything and start my own business. The Shop Automotive Detailing was the name and in September 2008 I had my very own 2 bay garage to detail in! Word got out and my business grew fast. So fast that after 6 months it was already time to expand and find a larger facility. As my business grew I began to assemble a team of passionate workers and make a name for ourselves.

After 5 years of hard work we were able to expand again. We moved to our current location. Now we’ve got 6000 sq/ft of work space. We have the only clean room for curing ceramic coat and showcasing our high quality product in the area! The past decade in business has taught me a great deal about the industry and allowed me to fine tune every aspect of my business. When you bring your vehicle to The Shop you get the best product, the best equipment and the best methods in the business leaving your vehicle looking better than brand new!
