Every year I get a little closer to being able to afford my dream cars, and somehow they get even further away. 😭

Some cars deserve to be driven.

Seeing one of your dream cars slowly disappear into the ground while the owner has no interest in selling it is painful.

I get it. It’s their car.

But it still hurts knowing it could be back on the road instead of becoming parts for the earth.

I really do not like Kia’s but this one is a great example of a car that can still be a good purchase without being perfect.

It drove great and presented well overall. We did find a replacement engine, a small coolant seep from upper rad hose, slight differential seepage, worn lower control arm bushings, and transmission behavior that makes a fluid service a good idea.

Nothing here was a deal breaker. Just the kind of information every buyer deserves to know beforehand.

Every time I inspect a clean Fit, I leave wanting one even more.

This one drove exactly how you’d hope. No major mechanical concerns, no diagnostic codes, clean service history, and just a few cosmetic repairs and aging tires to budget for.

Honda really nailed these cars.

This customer supplied the alternator. We handled the installation.

While driving, the battery light came on, the headlights started dimming, and eventually the instrument cluster shut off. Thankfully, they were able to safely pull into a parking lot before the vehicle completely lost electrical power.

A new alternator got them back on the road without needing a tow.

Small warning signs can turn into big problems fast. If your vehicle starts acting differently, don’t wait until it leaves you stranded.
