It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our friend and longtime colleague, Scott Hill, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 58.
Scott was a founding employee of U.P. Tire and dedicated several decades of his life to serving our customers and our community. Throughout those years, he became especially well known throughout the local agricultural community, where his knowledge, hard work, and willingness to help earned him the respect and friendship of countless people.
Scott also shared a long history with our founder, Charlie Brown. Together, they helped build U.P. Tire into the business it is today, and their contributions continue to be felt every day.
Our hearts are with Scott's wife, Terri, his family, his friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
Funeral arrangements will be shared by the family when they become available.
Rest in peace, Scott. Your years of dedication, friendship, and service to this community will not be forgotten.
To honor Scotts passing, U.P. Tire will be closed on Thursday, July 2. U.P. Tire will also be closed on Friday, July 3 for the 4th of July weekend returning to serve the community on Monday, July 6th.
