3 things we have dealt with so far from clients that should be avoided when dealing with Love Bugs.
1. Dryer Sheets. Believe it or not, dryer sheets have an abrasive material that leaves very fine micromarring scratches in your paint.
2. Cooking Oil. These ends up leaving an extremely sticky/tacky residue all over your car that is a NIGHTMARE to remove.
3. WD40. This leaves an extremely oily residue that is also a nightmare to remove.
If you have any questions regarding properly removing and preventing lovebug nightmares, please feel free to message us.
Keep in mind that Love Bugs have an acidic property in their stomachs that can destroy clearcoat when left on for long periods of time.
