YOKOHAMA HOT ROD CUSTOM SHOW, organized by MOONEYES, is the largest indoor custom car and motorcycle show in Japan. The event features vendor spaces, custom paint contest, pinstripers and so much more wrapped up in a one-day show.

Bonneville Day 6.
We got to the salt early and got it ready to run. We fixed all of the loose hoses and wires. After double checking everything, we found something off from the clutch. Chico decided to raise the car and take it out to look at it. He replaced the chipped brass shifters and lubed the whole first gear cluster. After putting it all back together, we started the engine. It started a lot easier. However, when we put the car in gear, the tires were locked up. Chico took a small break and figured it’s a transmission issue.
That is the end of Chico’s Bonneville Speed Week. He will work hard to return in few weeks!
