Porsche Restoration Challenge Engine Diagnosis.🔧

During a leak down test our lead technician on this years project Jesse found the issue behind our motors sluggish characteristics.

A cylinder leak means the engine can’t hold compression. Without compression, combustion becomes inefficient, power drops, and internal components can wear of fail prematurely. ❌

Now we move onto potential improvements with Porsche classic parts available to us just like on modern cars.

Tomorrow is the day. Join us for Cars & Coffee with Morning Car Club. ☀️

Join us Tomorrow, Saturday March 7th, from 9am - 11am for a special Cars & Coffee at Porsche Santa Clarita.

Our Boxenstopp restaurant will have its Cars & Coffee menu available featuring breakfast burritos, chilaquiles, acai bowls and more. Free coffee will also be available while supplies last.

All makes and models are welcome. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, with an emphasis on Porsche vehicles.

As always, early arrival is suggested. ✅

That escalated quickly. 🔧

This year’s project will receive a refreshed engine to ensure in its next life we have a strong and reliable heart.

Our lead technician has completed his assessment and now he’s onto the sourcing of parts. Defining the goal for power on this project and the timeline for milestones to hit.

Monterey is right around the corner. 👀
