Hey Dirt Oval at Hot Rod Hobbies faithful!

Here is our updated Hot Rod Hobbies Dirt Oval July-December 2026 race schedule! Moving forward after the Shootout, we will switch from Sunday racing at 2pm to Saturday afternoon racing at 11am. We feel that out turnouts will be better on Saturday afternoons versus Sunday afternoons! I have posted the updated schedule for the rest of the 2026!!!

Hey Dirt Oval at Hot Rod Hobbies faithful!!!

It's Dirt Oval week at the World Famous Hot Rod Hobbies!!! This weekend, however, we will be racing on Saturday afternoon instead of Friday night! After much thought and conversations with the guys, it makes more sense to run on Saturday during the day to get some extra daytime practice prior to the Shootout! Also, the track has not been very good on Friday nights once the sun goes down so lets try Saturday afternoon! We did have some rain over the past weekend so the extra time helps the guys get the track prepared! Keep in mind that we do have off-road on Saturday evening at 6pm so Dirt Oval racing should be done by 4pm!

It's Dirt Oval at Hot Rod Hobbies race week!!! Tomorrow night is the final round of our current Hot Rod Hobbies Dirt Oval May-August 2026 Club Series!!! Corey and Clark have the track ready and we are excited to get back to Dirt Oval racing under the lights and cooler!!! Track will open around 4pm and racing begins at 7pm with Corey on the mic! Hey Dirt Oval faithful!!!!

Here it is!!! Our 2026 Hot Rod Hobbies 4th Annual Dirt Oval Fall Shootout flyer!!! This years event will feature the smooth stylings of Mr. John Candy who has agreed to run the show for once again!!! As always, all the popular classes are offered and we can add any class with 4 or more entries!!! We will offer Friday practice ($20 practice fee) from 10am to 8pm. Saturday morning the gates will open at 6am with practice from 7am to 10am and racing beginning at 11am!!! This will be a dedicated Dirt Oval day with no off-road racing going on afterwards, only off-road practice. Save the date and make your plans now as we are less than two months away from this annual Dirt Oval event!!! Please share and tell your friends and we hope to see you all at the end of September!!! As the temps continue to rise over the next few weeks, things will start getting very slow around Hot Rod Hobbies and we need your help to keep things going!!!
