Veteran’s Drive Car Show & Resource Fair

I’m extremely grateful and humbled the VA Hospital asked me to help put together a car show for their organization less than 60 days earlier which we just finished Saturday and it was amazing. This shows wasn’t about raising money but creating an event where veterans could get out and see the cool cars on the amazing campus near the SF Bay.

It also gave an opportunity to veterans to learn about services available to them which was one of the main goals which included su***de prevention. We lose almost 18 veterans a day by su***de. We need to do better. We take these men and women as children and do a horrible job as a country preparing them for civilian life.

Thanks to the over 60 car owners with their cars today. You all made an amazing difference in the lives of vets today.

The people at the VA SF are compassionate and are absolutely amazing. Thanks for making everything you do for the vets and thanks for making my job easy.

Thanks for all the new friends I met today. Great to see a lot of old faces and thanks to all the vets I spoke to today. We don’t do these car shows to make money but the thanks from the vets is absolutely priceless.

THAT “GREAT DEAL” MIGHT COST YOU MORE THAN YOU THINK. 👀

Buying a used performance car with modifications can be a great deal… if the car was taken care of properly.

This 2016 Z06 came into TPS for some
upgrades, and unfortunately, we found the other side of that story.

The MagneRide suspension needed over $3,500 in repairs, but that wasn’t even the worst of it. Once we got deeper into the car, we found the engine had major issues, with the electrodes and tips damaged or missing from all the spark l plugs. 😬

A car can look clean, drive fine on a quick test drive, and still be hiding some very expensive problems.

If you’re considering a used Corvette or modified performance car, get a proper pre-purchase inspection before handing over the money. That “too good to be true” deal can get expensive very quickly.

Better safe than sorry. 🔧
